Today I popped into Superdrug to have a look at any new skincare products which were out. I saw this new Garnier SkinActive Aloe range. They were on offer and priced at £2.29 each! They were originally £3.49 before the discount, which for full price I still think is a reasonable offer. That means for all 3 products today I paid £6.87!

I think the packaging looks really refreshing and I like that the bottles are transparent which is definitely handy to tell how much of the product is left! In each bottle, contains 200 ml of product and all state they are dermatologically tested along with containing no parabensno silicones and no artificial colourants. So anyone with sensitive skin, you can now be reassured this product will probably be okay for your skin! All 3 also contain 96% natural origin ingredientsThe bottles are 100% recyclable too, which is also fantastic!

The Refreshing Botanical Cleansing Milk is great for removing makeup and any excess oils you may have on your skin. The smell is divine and the extracts of aloe leave your skin fresh and smooth after applying to your face. I usually soak a cotton pad in this milk (as directed on the back of the bottle) and gently rub it on my face and it instantly removes any products you may have on your face. So far, it has also removed waterproof mascara! A little bit of this goes a long way too so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. The Aloe Vera also works as a cooling agent which makes your skin feel cool and refreshed after cleansing.

What does Garnier say?

‘It gently, yet efficiently removes makeup and impurities for perfectly clean, fresh and hydrated skin’

The Refreshing Botanical Toner has been a big part in my skincare routine along with every other product mentioned in this range. This toner helps to polish off your skin after using the cleansing milk and really gets the fine bits of dead skin and dirt out from my face. I don’t feel this is a necessary part to do in a face care routine but for me, I have really noticed a difference in my skin. It also doesn’t have a strong fragrance to it either which I like about it. I feel my makeup applies better when I use this toner in my face routine but also applying a little bit before applying any makeup helps give it a smooth base to work with and gives a flawless result.

What does Garnier say?

‘It removes make up residue and impurities whilst toning your skin and leaving it feeling beautifully purified and refreshed’

Finally, the Refreshing Botanical Gel Wash is something I was quite surprised at. In the mornings I will wet my face and pump some of the gel into my hands. I usually gently massage some into my cheeks and forehead, focusing mainly on my T-Zone where I get most oiliest. I thought it would create a foam once applied with water but it didn’t! It just stayed as a gel-like formula which was pretty cool. It felt like it was sinking into my skin nicely too. It was easy to wash off and left my skin feeling very smooth and almost texture free. It also doesn’t have a harsh fragrance to it either, which I have found the same with the other 2 products.

What does Garnier say?

‘It efficiently removed excess sebum, impurities and pollution for perfectly clean, fresh and hydrated skin’

A routine

I have created a daily routine with these products and I would usually use the Refreshing botanical cleansing milk at night before I go to bed to remove any makeup or oils on my face (i’m generally an oily skin girl). Afterwards, I would use the Refreshing botanical toner to fully cleanse my face. In the mornings I use the Refreshing botanical gel wash to clean my skin from any build up over night and it gives me a refreshed and awake face to start the day.

I hope this gives you an idea of how good these products actually are and you can find other products in the line including a Hydrating Lotion and an Aloe Moisturiser which can all be found at your local Superdrug. Grab them whilst there on offer if you can! You wont regret it!

Have any of you tried these products or can recommend any other skin care ranges from GARNIER?

Speak to you soon my lovelies!
